На Чемпионате Мира по каратэ WKF вводится система видеоповторов
Опыт применения видеоповторов спорных моментов на Чемпионате Европы в Тампере оказался положительным.Эта система использовалась во всех встречах кумитэ. Приводится статистика повторов. На Чемпионате Мира будут использованы не две, а четыре камеры,будут рационализированы операции,чтоб минимизировать время на просмотры,изображение будет со звуком.Это не предполагает изменения правил, но все тренеры будут информированы достаточным образом.Каждому тренеру спортсмена выдается карточка, которая не возвращается при отрицательном решении протеста.Это не касается боев за медали.Эта система получила положительные рекомендации на Чемпионате Европы в Тампере.

In the recently celebrated European Senior Championships in Tampere, the video review system has been applied in all Kumite bouts, with the company Dartfish. It has been a significant success, and the WKF Executive Committee has just approved to apply it from now on in the World Senior Championships, starting in Bremen. The European experience has been extremely useful to start the learning curve, and there are a few points that have been identified and will be refined in a next meeting by the specialists. For example, we foresee to use 4 cameras per competition area instead of 2, add sound to the video, rationalize the operations to minimize the time elapsed, etc. You have some useful information attached.
Although this does not suppose any change in the competition rules themselves, before Bremen, as it was done in the European Championships, all coaches and referees will be conveniently briefed on the system and the relevant operations. One of the points applied in Tampere, that does not show in the “Procedure” attached, is that each athlete (coach) is given a card that if lost, cannot be used again by the athlete except in the medal bout if this would be the case. You will also see in the statistics that the time elapsed with the bout stopped was being reduced along the days, although there is still significant room for improvement.
The main conclusion is that this innovation has been very warmly welcomed and offers a bright future. We will keep informing you on the result of next meetings by the specialists.
